Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
This policy explains what ChakriPoth (the “app” and this website) collects about you, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account: your name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account id and a link to your profile picture. We never see your Google password.
- Profile (optional): details you choose to add, such as the exams you prepare for, your district, education level and daily goal.
- Your study activity: exams you take, your answers, scores, bookmarks, notes and which questions you marked as read.
- Your phone: the model, Android version, app version and a random install id. We use the install id to keep your account on one phone at a time. We do not collect your phone number, contacts, photos or location.
- Notifications: a push token from Google Firebase so we can send you notifications.
- Usage and crashes: which screens you open and crash reports, collected through Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. These use a random user id, not your name or email.
Why we use it
To run your account, keep your progress, show your results and ranking, limit an account to one phone, send notifications you can turn off, fix problems, and improve the app.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use trusted service providers to run the app:
- Google Firebase: sign-in, notifications, analytics and crash reports.
- Oracle Cloud: the servers and database that hold your account and study data.
- Cloudflare: our domain name and website delivery.
When online payment is added, the payment provider will also process your payment details, and we will update this page.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we erase your name, email, profile, notes, bookmarks and device records (see how to delete your account). Exam results may stay in our records without your name so that rankings stay correct. Payment records, if any, are kept as required for accounting.
Your choices
- Turn off notifications in your phone settings.
- Ask us to delete your account or correct your information (see Contact below).
- Choose your text size and theme in the app's Settings. These stay on your phone.
Security
Passwords are stored in a protected form. Data is sent over an encrypted connection. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private.
Children
ChakriPoth is meant for people preparing for exams. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
